Just remembered this song the other day and started working on learning it. This sounds weird, but the bassline is incredibly sexy.

I also play Marvin Gaye's I Heard It Through The Grapevine a lot. The intro to Primus' Fish On is my go-to noodle when I pick up a bass (though, again, I don't play it very well).

Anyone have their favorite bass lines to cover/play along with to share? One of my favorites is "Get the Funk Out" by Extreme, that's just me. Interested to know what other people play along to.

No single favorite, no. But one that I picked up some years ago from a recording, and that I still enjoy playing just for the heck of it, is China Girl by David Bowie.
