Favorite "boutique" 4 string?

Talking about coffee table looking, neck through, two pickup, 20 knob preamp, high level 4 string basses. You usually only see 5s or 6s, but what are some 4 strings that would fit this category?

I remember watching a SBL podcast where he says some of John Pattituci's earliest stuff was done on a 4 string and not a 6. Dont know how true that is but the idea is super cool. So in that vein I'll start with this: the bass that Ken Smith has on their string packaging. I always thought this was one of the coolest looking basses and would love the opportunity to try one someday.

Any builder who will make you a tricked-out extended-range bass will also make you a tricked-out 4-stringer. If you've got the money all you have to do is ask.

My Stambaugh 4-string has seen it all. 20 years later it still sounds amazing and plays like a sports car just begging you to hit the open road and see how fast it can really go.

I remember seeing pictures of Stambaugh basses that I would drool over. Particularly the ones with a burl top. The picture reminds me a 5 year period when KS strings were my go to.

Searching ken smith on reverb, I'm actually surprised how many 4 bangers are floating around. I can see like 5 or 6 up at the moment... It's not too late OP
