I personally would love a sunburst with either black or tort guard. But that wasn't an option. I voted Fiesta Red, and would pair that with a black guard. There's just something about a red and black bass that does it for me.

Overall, that's a pretty hard to beat combination, especially with rosewood.

Going purely on personal preference, and because I think it's a really cool color, I went with Sherwood Green. That with either a tort guard or a w/b/w would be cool. Especially since you really don't see that color so much these days.

Although both my jazz basses are black, I tend to like classic blue and green colors. Seafoam metallic green, sonic blue, daphine blue, lpb. In the lighter colors I dig pearloid while pickguards and tort on darker colors. In fact, I'm thinking of doing a Warmoth build in one of the aforementioned colors.
