Favorite comfort foods?

I forgot about this one...until last night. Pasta, shredded parm, garlic saute'd spinach. Get the water going. Add the pasta. You now have 9 minutes, maybe 10 - you are using dried right ? Get a sute pan on med heat. Add a couple of tablespoons olive oil. When it's hot, add 3 cloves peeled garlic. Keep it moving so it get's gold and flavors the oil.

There is nothing better than freshly shredded parm...

Get a pasta bowl, add a thin layer of parm to the bottom.

Pull the pasta, drain. Add the spinach to the garlic oil. Keep it moving with tongs as it saute's down. Do a searh and destroy on the garlic cloces, they've done theor thing at this point.

Add a layer of spinach to the bowl. Add a bigger layer of pasta, cheese it... Do it all again. Until the spinach is gone and you like the balance of spinach to pasta. Cheese it frequently... Parm goes like rice in my house... Screw the cholesterol...

Like the bad boys in 'The Deer Hunter' - Mao or was it mow. Ah screw it ... Graze!

Sriracha, man that's good on almost anything...

I cried a little whe I saw that.....Although I don't know what the hell the broccoli is doing on the plate. Pinto Beans are supposed to be in that spot.

The ideal CFS platter should only be various shades of brown!! With yeast rolls and a small salad on the side.

A Southern breakfast does it for me, too.
