Yeah, but can you run a U5 over with a truck and have it still work? (Yes, you can do this with a Countryman

Sometimes durability trumps all when it comes to DIs. I certainly wouldn't want a bunch of U5s on a 3 day outdoor festival....
The Countryman is actually quite a good DI in its own right, though obviously not in the same class as the U5.
