Favorite Easter Candy

Here in the U.S. some of us celebrate easter by giving our children baskets filled with candy and/or toys. Some people tell their kids the Easter Bunny bought it. Is Easter celebrated in other parts of the world?...

On a serious note, the whole Easter Bunny thing is a celebratory symbol of Spring and fertility. I would imagine most cultures celebrate those things

Kinder Eggs with the toys inside. They are banned in the U.S. though but another company has a similar product called Choco Treasure that can be purchased in the U.S.

Those were only in the 2nd post of this thread! :eyebrow:

:p

Your picture showed as a Red X for me. (about 1/3 of the pics linked on TB dont show due to my company's internet settings.

So that would be a no vote on Peeps then. :p

In Chuck Palahniuk's book "Damned" they mention that Hell is littered with all the unwanted types of candies, like popcorn balls and black licorice. I dont recall if Peeps were mentioned specifically, but I imagine they'd be amongst such candies of Hell.

I don't like candy at all. No sweet tooth here, but I do have one or two that hurt when I drink oversweetened tea. :hmm:

My "candy" is canned smoked oysters and saltines - for all occasions and holidays. Canned octopus in garlic sauce ain't bad either.

Happy thread everyone. :p

"Mommy what's this in my easter basket?" "Oh Billy you are such a lucky boy. That's a can of octopus in garlic sauce. The easter bunny must really love you." :hiding: :p:p:p

OK, for those who are all about the Cadbury Eggs, which do you prefer... clean wrapper or sticky wrapper?

For some reason i almost always get one with a wrapper that takes about 15 minutes to get all the foil off.

Not enough testing has been done to determine if clean vs sticky wrapper changes the flavor.
