I had a T bird,sometimes it would sound amazing sometimes not at all depending on the rig,maybe it was my lack of experience at the time.
Anyway I got an SG standard in a trade and I like it better,maybe its the short scale.
I open the bridge pickup and add the neck pickup for the amount fat I want.
It doesnt dive but it is neck heavy,I dont feel it sitting down but when standing up and moving around alot it can slip a bit.
BTW what exact model if any of light tuners will fit an SG without drilling?

That's exactly how I play mine as well (except I sometimes solo the semi-mudbucker for kicks). I basically learned to blend pickups on it, and now I can't live without blending pickups on most any 2-pickup basses.

EB-3, aka a Hofner with bigger balls. I recently upgraded my faux EB-3 with some Duncan SSB4s and I though the neighbors would call animal control for the growling!
