Jonas Hellborg and Shawn Lane are the duo that always comes to mind for me, because of the enduring quality of their work. I have always felt that Shawn brought Jonas to a whole new level of musicality.

Jeff Berlin and Scott Henderson are worth a mention too, as an insanely talented pairing, much like Alain Caron and Michel Cusson. Style wise, Geddy and Alex went together like peaches and cream, just perfect for complimenting how the other played.
