Favorite headstock shapes...

Eric, those are nasty... :smug:

Here are some past headstocks from basses I have owned, that I like:

Sweet Mando Basss!

Wow, that's cool. Can you tell me more about it? Is there a thread dedicated to it?

Thanks. It is a side project that I have been building off & on for awhile now. I haven't started a thread yet. I've been planning to; Been taking lots of photos. Hopefully get it going this weekend. I'll PM you when I do.

as well, I've always liked the Lawrence headstocks, the Bongos, and the ones that Flaked Beans pointed out. Fender is classic, but like some other classics, that shape is far too common. Doesn't make the design a bad thing, it has proven useful and economically viable from the production standpoint.

My computer is bogging, but there's one Ken Bebensee headstock that always grabbed my attention, a sixer.

love Traben Array stocks, the bongo, Lakland/musicman, the classic BC Rich head (say what you will about the basses, sound etc etc, at the end of the day, big and pointy looks badass, even if it'll snap in two if you have a cough ^ ^). i HATE the classic fender shape unfortunately :/ just cant get around it.
