Joe Jackson, Big World is #1 for me;
Close behind is Frank Zappa "The Best Band You Never Heard" - that album is freaking EPIC.
Deep Purple, Made In Japan is also great
Joe Walsh: You can't argue with a Sick Mind - another classic.

More recent stuff? I was unimpressed by the recent live album by The Decemberists (and I love them - just not this album). Not sure about other stuff out there now (yeah, I'm old).
