Currently my favorite pedal company has to be EHX. These guys aren't afraid to experiment, they have good stuff and it's inexpensive. They somehow manage to keep their prices low while being inventive and experimental. I love it!

And the DBBM is a total winner, also I just grabbed a Bass soul food and it does exactly what I've been looking for.

What's yours?

EHX
Boss
DOD
Source Audio

I almost feel like apologizing for not including top boutique builders (or does Source Audio qualify as boutique?), because I have a tremendous amount of respect for them. I just haven't really bonded with any of the boutique pedals I've tried...

...yet.

There are lots of others I love too, but these are what I seem to gravitate toward as far as maufacturers

Love me some EHX. While some effects can be made better bu others (I've found better way pedals for example) I just love EHX business model and the oddball stuff they do. I'm a longtime supporter of them. They've always good some weird thing in the pipeline too. My favorite pedal is the Small Clone and they recently found a way to make it better with the Bass Clone solving the one issue I always had with it a lack of blend.

I also have a soft spot for MXR though I love the carbon copy and phase 90. Their pedals have only gotten better over the years both in performance and build quality

Yeah, agreed on EHX. While there are lots of fuzzes I like more these days, I love all the bizarre stuff they have pedals for. A lot of it is stuff I'd never find a use for, but I'm glad it exists, all the same.
