I like a lot of EHX pedals, but I've found the build quality to be pretty bad, at least in the last several years. I think maybe they've just gotten so big that the quality control is not what it once was. That being said, I have a Pitchfork on my board (despite it being super noisy).

Only because I own 'em;
EBS. Yes there is love for the triple bass IQ- well built. *Proven.
MXR. M84 BFD- Well built as usual. *Proven.
EDEN. WTDI- solid construction. *Proven
MarkBass. Too early to tell with the glass tube (compressore), but seems well built and does everything I need.
* these pedals have been consistent in dependability to me even when sharing these with other people. I don't mind sharing with my friends-I 'try' not to buy cheap garbage.

I like a lot of pedal companies--some I can't afford
There is only one I avoid because every pedal of their I've tried is noisy.

But based on what I have--Boss, TC Electronics & Danelectro.
but I also like DOD
And if I had the cash -Strymon & Empress

but I also like EHX a lot.
