Favorite PREMIUM Strap ??

Wasn't there some drama between Moody and Italia? Italia splitting from moody, and putting out some bad straps at Moody prices?

Anyhoo, I gotta say, I tried a Moody 4" back in December...man, it was a completely different playing experience with that strap rather than my usual nylon Ernie Ball. I'll probably snag one in a month or two. It was insanely nice.

I REALLY love my Selle Italia strap. Awesome leather, and great craftsmenship! I got the 4" due to a heavy bass, and I am happy!

Most of the Levy straps are in the $50 range and I'm really not interested in spending much more than that.

+1 I have one of the extra wide straps. It helps with those heavy Music Mans

These are (obviously) extremely popular "high-end" straps in Greece. I have a padded leather one that makes my L-2500 feel like a feather. You'll probably have a hard time getting them in the US though...

I don't believe they sell on ebay anymore, and their prices have gone up.
Still cheaper than Moody tho.

I'm probably one of the few people who likes the DiMarzio ClipLok strap. They're like a seatbelt, only on my bass. I suppose I'd love the Wittman Spinstrap if I could ever figure that center-of-gravity thing out.

I've got a 13-pounder and a 15-pounder over here. 3" Yamaha Air Pocket strap fixed that little problem.

yes I believe the Levys 4.5 inch one does. I have one (that I dont use anymore) and it could go pretty short. short enough where the bass was up on my chest, and I am a small guy.
