Favorite Seafood

Don't know if I've ever had it but I'll try anything that comes out of the water. Guess I'll have to put that one on the list next time I'm by the bay or Ocean City Md. Oh , and as to your previous post about some scallops that are really stingray wings , yes it's true. Really hard to tell them apart and the stingray wings are darn good. Too bad they have to misrepresent them to sell them. If you are in a restaurant and order scallops , and they are all huge and the same size , you're probably eating stingray. Shark and swordfish are very similar too.

Sharkbait.

Hoo Ha Ha.

Moo goo gai cat anyone????

White dog is the best, at least that what a cute little Korean girl once told me.

As for seafood...so much fancy stuff listed here.

Here's mine in order of preference.
Fried grouper throats
Grilled cobia
Grilled redfish
Fried wahoo
grilled oysters in the shell
Steamed oysters
Shrimp most any style, but grilled with fresh veggies is my fave

There are plenty others. In truth it would be easier to list what I don't like when it comes to saltwater creatures.

Not a fan of crab, lobster, or any other shellfish outside of a few bivalves. It's just too sweet for my taste.

Other than that I'll take a swing at most anything else.

Oh and I can't deal with any dish that smells like the trash cans full of fish offal at the wharf after the party boats have landed for the day.

mmm... so many fish, so little time. I go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium's open water tank, see all the tuna, and I get soooo hungry - Sushi on the hoof!

Yellowtail sashimi... Maguro too
Seared albacore, fresh salmon, grilled...
Prawns wrapped in prosciutto or bacon...
Sea bass, halibut...
I'm gonna need a second lunch.

Taking my beautiful wife to Scoma's in SF this weekend. Will dine on some of the best seafood on the west coast.
I don't like all the fish on their menu. Scoma I do, and Scoma I don't.

Okay, maybe I do like all their fish but I find it hard to pass on a terrible pun.:)
