Earth 2 (1994) - sci fi colonization series, got two seasons, then canned without a finale. Very high production values, intriguing plot, excellent characters and writing.
Strange Luck (1995) - only ran one season. DB Sweeney as Chance Harper, a photographer for whom the most unlikely coincidences occur. It was really, really good. Here's my favorite scene from the series: Invalid Link Removed

Sports Night. Only two seasons. Aaron Sorkin scripts at their rapid-fire best, and before he got all preachy on West Wing (he let Sports Night die to work on that one).

Loved those shows.
Freaks & Geeks. Amazing high school show set in 1980 from the Judd Apatow crew in 1999. Great acting, very real characters, and a killer soundtrack. They just put up all 18 episodes on Netflix, check it out.
