When i had a blood clot i couldn't eat anything green or drink alcohol. Only reason i don't consider myself an alcoholic is because i don't go to meetings. Either way, i had no problem not drinking compare to lack of Broccoli... Broccoli on other hand, I was having hard time not eating.

Broccoli #1

Broccoholic?

Sweet potatoes and sweet potato accessories. And broccoli, okra, green beans, mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Oh man. One of the better perks of growing up in the rural south, never a shortage of good, well cooked vegetables!... And fried chicken...

Old roommate/friend of mine who didn't eat vegetables, one day came home telling us he ate a veggie burger... so surprised we asked what was on it... His answer; "Turkey."

He was fairly convinced because it's not beef is veggies. Not really joking though.

Love that guy to death, one of the funniest dudes ever... He is like Ricky from Trail Park Boys, only short Vietnamese dude.

Note that he is a smart guy, he just says random things that make no sense sometimes which makes it more surprising/funnier.

Oh no, no, no.....I LOVE me some turnip greens! I like the little bite they have. The root itself, though, makes me gag :spit:

Wheeeew !!! that was a close call :D I absolutely love turnip, mustard and collard greens. Any of those with black eyed peas makes me very happy. As long as it has a leeetil bit of bacon in the mix. Not too much so you can still taste everything else ;)

Amen brother. Turnip greens are my favorite of the three, in fact. 'Cept for the black eyed peas. I don't like black eyed peas :hiding:

anything with seeds in it is really a fruit. but we can call them veggies, what the heck, eh?

i really love them all and would have a hard time playing favorites. maybe i will say garlic. why not?

oh, except celery. for some crazy reason i hate celery. every decade or so i try to like it but it has not yet worked.
