I received an update from Marcel!

"The custom bridge arrived, holes drilled, fine sanded and it's being prepped for the pray booth. Should see color within about 10 days.

Should be smooth sailing from here on out. We're passed the point of the "custom" delays associated with the rare beast you have here."​

As I posted in the FBass Club, I received a progress picture of my VF6-PJ, in Lake Placid Blue with a few clear coats.

I received my FBass update today from 2 sources: First, from a fellow TalkBass member @wthompson007 who happened to drop by FBass today and recognized my bass, and Second, progress pictures from Marcel. The bass should be finished in approximately 2 weeks or so.

Dave from Ultimate Basses sent me pictures of my completed VF6-PJ Fretless! I guess I’ll get a new tracking number this week.

Very clever of him placing my FBass with Aguilar pickups in front of a beautiful Aguilar amp.

I emailed Marcel to thank him, George and all at FBass. I also asked if he took any final pictures before the bass was picked up. I’ll follow up again if they managed to take some.

Awesome! And sweet is really not doing it justice. I am by no means a big fan of 5 or 6 stringers (some are fun for sure), but that thing looks real rad. Love the shade of blue and the tort really adds a lot. Not to mention the shape of both the body and pickguard. Stellar choices on the build dude.
