I listened to soundclips of some FBB basses (wenge fb, wenge in neck at some point) and they sound great. Bartolini electronics as well..

The last two accompany me to all gigs and recording sessions. I'm still amazed at the variety of tones I can pull out of #1067. And #m080 is just an amazing sounding fretless. It's about as close to the fretless sound in my head (no, it's not tinninitis) as I could get.
I highly recommend Matt and his basses!
