Double Bass Featherweight Bass Bag

Didn't see an accessoroes forum so sorry if this is the wrong place, but
Is there a really lightweight bass bag out that stiill protects well? I mean significantly lighter than mooridian.

Dave,
We have Gollihur's previous generation of their professional bag (Invalid Link Removed ). Don't know that I would say is is lighter than the Moordian however the wheels make it very easy for my 13 year old to get his bass around such that the weight of the bag & bass don't really matter. It has held up very well over the last 2 years (really still looks new), no issues at all with the wheels, zippers, etc, and he is taking the bass (a Shen SB300) out multiple times per week rehearsals (CSYO & YPCO) etc. and the bag does a terrific job of protection.

I have one of these and I believe they are an incredible amount heavier than mooradian. They are really great cases though, and I would highly recommend it, I just dont think it fits his needs.

Thanks H. But so far, I've been too chicken to roll my bass on a wheel. Especially since I do a lot of outdoor gigs where I'm crossing bumpy terrain.

I've been using this with the rubber cushion and haven't had a problem over curbs, stairs and rough terrain. Really, I have gotten a bit careless so it's time to knock on wood.

Walter Booker had a bag that was like a down vest that closed with velcro. But I have absolutely no idea where he got it and I've never seen anyone else using one like it....
