FEDEX Damaged my bass! Arrggh!! Pics to see

Ordered a new Ibanez SR405EQM in Dragon Eye.

Here’s what I recieved - severly damaged. Rear strap button push in to the body flush and the bridge was mashed into the body so bad that the strings were laying on top of the pickups.. rediculous!

I expect this out of UPS but have never had a bad delivery from FedEx

The shipping contract is between the consignor (seller) and FedEx. The consignor needs to file the damage claim.

Yeah it was a shipment from a major retailer and they are handling the process.. resending another bass.

Really?? I have had nothing but horrible experience with FedEx. So much so that I refuse to use them for anything.

I have even canceled orders that only offered FedEx shipping.

They will never get one cent from me.

Good luck with the claim. The "customer" service I have received from them has been less than barely acceptable.

FeDex is the devil! Did you know that FedeX spelled backwards is XedeF? (Google it!) I absolutely make a point of never buying anything from anyone if they can't ship it to me USPS. And don't even get me started on "UPS"!! Did you know UPS spelled backwards is SPU??? A pox on couriers!

Was it just rapped and put in the box? I take it the bass was not shipped in a case? Because that box look like it's to big for that bass.

I had a bass delivered to me by fedex yesterday and they didn’t even bother knocking. They just left it in front of my door for anyone to steal.

Yep, that's ridiculous!

One more reason why I won't order anything to be delivered in the last 6 weeks of the year.
Rampant theft of packages left out, and the drivers are over-worked & damage things,,,
then there are the delays

Did that guy up there try to ship himself in a FedEx box ? Must have gotten lost a few weeks and almost starved to death. Poor fellow, looks like he didn't get anything for Christmas last year either.

I wish USPS had a fragile heavy service for our sort of stuff, they are nothing less than perfect, very rare to see damage of any sort.

I shipped myself USPS.
