FEDEX Damaged my bass! Arrggh!! Pics to see

I know that hurts to see your baby all banged up. My Ampeg Ba-210 V2 had some scuff marks and a small gouge in the box but no apparent damage, I did check all the seams I could see. They use a soft shock absorber insert set, seems to work well. It got lost one day then found, yea it worried me like a lost dog but they found it next day. Even though I know I could get it replaced, If I saw that thing damaged then on it's way to the Ampeg hospital would be trauma.

Ok so I received my replacement bass today. It was packaged impeccably well. Frets were perfect, 1/2 turn of the truss rod gave me the correct relief in the neck. Strung it up with brand new set of Chromes Flats, a minute adjustment in relief. Lowered the saddles to my liking, adjusted the intonation.. added strap locks. Oiled the otherwise dry rosewood fretboard... she plays every bit as good as my more expensive basses and yes, extremely impressed with these pickups and dead quiet preamp that does everything it promises. Perfect bass but mind you this after a good set-up. Ibanez doesn’t seem to be doing much setup on the under $800 basses now a days. But that’s fine by me.
