Feedback Stoppers?

Hello Gang,

I've owned a MK Dragonfly 5 ABG for a couple of months. It has been a joy. I find myself playing much more with an accoustic sitting in the corner. The only downer is the thing howls like a rhino in season when it's plugged in!!

At anything over 25% on the Fishman preamp it feeds back. I have seen Accoustic git players use a hard rubber piece that fits in the soundhole to control feedback. I went to GC yesterday to try and find one (anyone want to guess how much fun that was?).

Does anybody have a company name or a link to help out a brother?

Kaman makes one called "Feedback Buster". Music123 and a lot of other online retailers have them for about $8.

Interesting, I play my 4 string Dragonfly at over 50% volume all the time with very little or no feedback. I just have to keep my back to the amp speakers and it's not an issue. Face the amp and than it becomes a problem sometimes though.
