Of the 3 listed, Marta is my fav... Eyes closed, she throws down. Eyes open, BONUS! But it was her playing that I noticed first b/c the first time I heard her I was listening while someone else had the computer on in the room. I couldn't see her

My most favorite female bass players are these ones:
1. Esperanze Spalding
2. Sean Yseult
3. Kira Roessler
4. Tina Weymouth

Holy!!!!
I wish I was doing well enough to turn down Nick Jonas (not a fan at all, but that's a A gig).
I won't say you shoulda done it, 'cause I don't know all your reasons - do you mean the "rock" lifestyle or simply touring for weeks on end?
If that's the case, and you are getting that level of interest you might want to go to Nashville - the basslines are generally not all that exciting, but there is a strong Christian undercurrent in a lot of country music, so the artists tend to take it a little easier, and there is also the Christian music scene which is largely centered there as well - and they even more so are more "family oriented" in their approach to work - and naturally their attitudes to the "rock and roll" lifestyle.
Definitely glad you're getting yourself "out there", and that it's working.
Good for you.
Nice to see someone I "know" making it in music.
Aww thank you my friend!
Well basically I had some bad things happen to me during the summer which affected me physically and mentally, nothing serious, but just some issues that mentally were affecting me everyday. I am just getting better, but I thought I wasn't prepared to tour in that kind of mental state ya know. I've been getting a lot more great offers so it all worked out just fine!
Thanks again!

Again, so glad you're doing well (musically and health-wise).
I always knew you'd do it.

Nah, like other people have stated in this post they are just popular because of their looks, not of their playing. I think that the best female bass players are Tal Wilkenfeld and Esperanza Spalding and in my opinion Tal and Esperanza are a lot more beautiful that the 3 girls in the op :)

Given the options in OP's poll, the title of this thread should be "Female Bass Players who Play Covers on Youtube," perhaps adding "Attractive" at the front. My own favorites (male or female) are the ones who are not only great players but also great composers/arrangers, and improvisers -- my personal favorite (male or female) being Julie Slick.

Gail Ann Dorsey, David Bowie's bass player. Also a session player, and has toured with Lenny Kravitz.
Very talented young lady.

I agree with imaginary pony - for my nickel - Gail Ann Dorsey all the way, baby. Sorry, for me - not even a contest - especially when you also factor in her considerable vocal ability. I like this version:

She has performed and recorded with artists such as David Bowie, The Gang Of Four, Louise Goffin, Sophie B. Hawkins, Tears For Fears, The Indigo Girls, Jane Siberry, Jeffrey Gaines, Dar Williams, Joan Osborne, The B-52's, and the late Michael Hutchence of INXS. She has recently toured with Seal and Gwen Stefani. For the past several years she has been with Lenny Kravitz.

It's fun watching ladies tear up a bass. I just recently ran across the "Rebecca Johnson Band". She has some 500 live performance videos posted on YouTube. This lady is the real deal!!! Out there gigging like crazy bringing the funk every night. Wow! I'd love to play in a band like this.

You tube channel if you have a few hours lol.
