My local store has one in stock, suprisingly nice, and I would have no problem playing it anywhere, as is, its actually one of the nicer basses I've played recently.

Hi funkmetal -

normal: 34" and some 35" for a 4 string. Many 5 strings are 35". I've seen custom basses with over 5 strings that are as long as 36.5".

medium: 32" and 33".

short: 31" and under (some people say 30" and under).

Well... I can kind of see their point. If we allowed everyone to talk about how ugly everybody else's basses are all the time, it would really coarsen the dialog around here.

I don't think they make them any more, as I think the company completely redid their catalogue recently. Mine's not pink any more anyhow.

Somewhat ought to post a sticky with a list of folks who make P and J copies. Or maybe we need a searchable database so it's easier to find out what medium-scale basses are available (or were at one time).
