Fender 100 Rumble

I'm thinking of getting this amp, and I was wondering A: Is it any good? B: Is it loud enough to use for a small gig? C: If I played my guitar through it, would it sound okay?

i had a baseman 100 it was fine for a small gig! i was looking at the rumble 100 last week not a bad price! but i went with the Yorkville xm200T 200 watts alot!! more tone!! for another 100$ bucks.

I agree. If you can scrape up the extra moeny, you will find it VERY worthwhile. The Xm200/T is an amazing amp through my experience. Don't know much about the Rumble 100, but if it's anything like the Bassman 100 STAY AWAY!!! I've jammed with a Bassman 100, and it was damn near about to blow by the time my drummer could hear me.

i tried the fender rumble 100 and it is a great little amp, it is alot better than fender amps used to be beacuse they now use SWR technology. you can actualy turn the thing up all the the way without any distortion which is pretty cool! but i would say go with the yorkville xm200t or xm200 both are realy great amps!

I just got the XM200, so I'm gonna recommend that. The low end with the 15" speaker is killer.

I heard another Fender Rumble...a 60 watt or something, and it wasn't too impressive.
