Fender 215 Pro series cab

Yeah, I have the 215 and the 610. Both are stellar with it with both my Jazz and Stingray. I think Im more partial to the 215 at the moment.. little more THUMP... and TOGETHER with the 610.. OH GOD!!!
Both have a nice voicing and openess that sits very well in mixes. Its nothing like the old 90s fender 215 pro. That shoulda been a 215 amatuer.
One thing, since its ported it isnt the first choice normally for a tube head, but for some reason with the 300 pro its pure sex.

Yeah, I know what you mean about ported cabs with tube heads in general. But your comment is similar to other comments I have read about the 215 Pro cab matching up perfectly with the 300 Pro head.

yeah, for instance my V4B doesnt like either of the fender cabs at loud volumes, but the 300 pro just keeps pumpin em oh so sweetly.. and we can play QUITE LOUD with BUTTLOADS of FUZZ and DIRT and NOISE all in a heavy deep low kinda gloom.

At ALMOST deafening levels the V4B likes the 610 quite well... or the other way around.. and the tone is to die for, but sometimes the speakers feel like they might just be beggin for relief and I dont like to do that to em... I depend on em tooooo much.

Its not the looks, its the sound that is SOOOO different. The old ones weren't tuned properly to be efficient in the low ends and sounded very bright for 215s and if you nudged the bass up at volume they could easily get all farty on ya.. and that stinks.

Good question.

I purchased the VT and the MB Comp to go with my Kern/QSC amp. I plan to run that into a pair of LDS fEarful 15/6's that I have on order. I should receive those cabs in the next couple of weeks.

I just bought the 300 Pro head a week ago, and I don't currently have a cab (or cabs) to run it through. I was thinking of seeing how the 300 Pro sounds through the pair of LDS cabs when I receive those cabs, but I have been eyeing the Fender 215 Pro cab because I just like the looks of that cab and how it would match the 300 Pro head so perfectly. Do I really need all of this gear? No. But do I want all of this gear? Yes.
