Fender 5 String Jazz neck taper question

I did a quick search and didn't find much, so maybe someone can help me out.

I recently bought a MIM Fender V and the bass has a PHENOMENAL TONE. I mean absolutely MIND blowing, however the neck profile up around the nut leaves MUCH to be desired.

I'm guessing with some more time I could get use to how wide it is at the nut, however next to my CallowHill J(unk) the fenders neck kind of feels like well....Junk (no pun intended).

Of course that is to be expect when we're talking about a $3K jazz vs a $300. However I was wondering if Fender or Anyone for that fact sells a direct replacement that has a NARROWER nut width for the 5 string series.

I love the bass, but when I pick it up, the neck just doesn't say/feel like a "Jazz neck profile" to me at all.

So do I have any direct replacement options?

USACG 5 string necks are not a retrofit for Fenders. They are based on a 35" scale model i.e. both their 34" and 35" scale necks are the same length.

I believe the extra 2 frets warmoth has are actually simply an overhang over the body. I'm not sure if the 5 string models are a retrofit for the Fenders. They also only offer the assymetrical neck profile that you may not like. I think emailing the dudes at warmoth would help clear doubts.

The two extra frets on the Warmoth are not an overhang on their fivers, and it says they fit delux Fenders.

The Squier Deluxe V (and the Squier P-5 that came out and is discontinued) is 2.01 (or 2.02) at the nut. The Squier Affinity V is 1.875 at the nut. Standard Fender V is 1.875...so all Replacements like Warmoth or Mighty Mite should be to Standard Fender specs, I'm guessing...

According to the Fender site, the Marcus Miller V is 1.825" at the nut. Not much less, but it is less....

Not sure if there is anything available out there, or a custom sized neck maybe in order (Read: $$$$$$$$) ...or just get used to it.
