Couple of points of interest-
There have been slab fretboard maple on maple necks as well as the slab rosewood on maple, although not very common. On originals, not reissues.
Most white blondes (trans blonde) whether bass or guitar (tele, strat, jazzmaster, jaguar) were on ash bodies. I have seen trans white over alder, but less common.
Swamp ash bodies are quite often light. The Northern ash used in the 70s are the heavy weights.
