Fender 60s road worn or G&l jb2 ??

Hey guys, new member here although I've been reading talk bass for the last couple years lol. I've been playing bass for awhile now and I play alot of rock, classic rock, funk, swing. I currently have a 70s squire p bass, black with maple block neck. Sounds awesome, I've played a variety of different basses and I've decided I need more then just a p. When I play funk or rhcp covers it's just not the same. I love passive basses and want one that will do it all. A couple months ago I purchased a g&l jb2 in sonic blue but it ended up being not in stock and I've had absolutely 0 customer service with g&l. Still dont know when I'm getting that bass. Should I cancel my order and purchase a road worn 60s fender. Found one for 900 Canadian (I've only ever played a road worn p and it was amazing) Or do I wait for the g&l tribute? If you want to suggest an other bass my budget is between 500 to 1000 Canadian and I'd like a lightweight bass due to long gigs and my achy back lol

The G&L JB-2 has a 12” fretboard radius and medium-jumbo frets, where the Fender RW Jazz has a 7.25” fretboard radius and (smaller) vintage frets, so there’s going to be a difference in feel and playability. Only you know which you prefer. Aside from that, IMO, the Fender Road Worn Jazz is a superior instrument in terms of construction, materials, and tone.

I never considered that Slater. The bass I play now is 9.5 radius and it plays well. I once had a stagg mb300 with a flater feeling radius. Cant find the specs but that neck felt sweet. Maybe I prefer the larger radius? I've never played a G&L but I have played the road worn p and all I can say wow what an axe. The jb2 gets a good rep online for playability, and is 400 dollars cheaper... hmmm is the fender worth it?
