After doing some searching I couldn't really find an answer to my question. I'm looking for some budget strings to put on my Dean Playmate ABG. I still have factory strings on it and, well, they are less than satisfactory 
The electronics in it are crap so I'm going purely acoustic strings. I found some Fender strings at juststrings.com for pretty cheap and was wondering if anyone knew anything about them. Also, I defretted my Dean and am wondering if the phosfor bronze will eat my fretboard with no remorse. I'm really just looking to replace my strings without spending more than I paid for the bass
