A nice bass , but have you tried the Squire VM fretless Jazz? Like a lot of people, I was shocked at how good the Squire Jazz is for half the price of a Fender. I've played both, and honestly could not find enough difference to justify the difference in price, other than resale value. I liked the lined ebanol fingerboard better than the rosewood on the Fender fretless I played, and its a more durable material for roundwounds.

I have one and it sounds great but I did replace the pickups in there. Most fretles bases have active like the other one I have which I build but these don't and I really did not want to put active in there. So I got some Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders jazz bass pickups and it sounds awesome when they're both open all the way and if you turn down one of them a little bit then you get there like built-in Overdrive. My friend jokes around and says I have a base with built in distortion.
