Fender Bass Book suggestions?

Hi there,
I want to read something about Fender Basses from the first one to today. But there are two many books out there.
Any suggestions? Is there a must-read book about Fender basses?

A handbook like this sounds really great.
Maybe I need two. One for the maintenance one for history of the Fender Bass.

Just got this book. GREAT read and look on the many many pictures. It's time to dream, when you see those great vintage instruments.

I liked "The Fender Bass Handbook: How to Buy, Maintain, Set Up, Troubleshoot, and Modify Your Bass" by Paul Balmer, a little light on history, but a lot of pics and profiles on a good number of various vintage and current Fender basses, with a lot of useful info and tips on working on these instruments.

"How the Fender Bass changed the world" -Jim Roberts is a good read too.

I have The Fender Bass book. Great book. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated for the 21st century.
