Fender Bassman 100 - Date

Hi
Would anyone know which year this Bassman 100 would be from?
The number at the back is “A 03768”
As I understand it, Bassman 100s were made in the 70s.

If memory serves, the 100 ran from ‘72ish to ‘77ish, after which it became the 135. If you can see the tube chart glued inside the head case, there may be a 2-character code stamped on it. There’s also likely a date written inside the chassis, but danger awaits the untutored there, so ask your tech to check it for you

If you open it up and check the date codes on the pots it was probably assembled about 6 months after that.
If CBS had been smart, they would have brought that out soon after they took over and would have gained a bunch of low end market share.

I would take a look at the transformers and choke, as I don't the think the tube charts are actually a very reliable indicator.
