Fender Bassman 115 Neo

As a plan B: Don at Low Down Sound can make a 1x15 with a mid and/or tweet that looks as Fender as a Fender, for about the same price as the Fender, but with better quality and sound. I own two Fender Studio Bass amps and a cab from Don is in my future plan, after I unload a bunch of gear later this summer.

any clue what the weight is on the 2x15x6 cab?

I've had the Bassman Neo115 for about 8 months. Played it with an Aguilar TH500, DB750 and AG500. I agree the neo lacks some OOMPH. I have tried a few other speakers (Eminence Kappa Pro 15 and an EV EVM15) both sound great in the cab, have better low end and more "push". That said, I prefer an Aggie DB115.

Hmmm interesting.
+1 hopefully some others can add their views.
I think the one thing you have to be aware of when comparing the "Fender Bassman 115 NEO cab" with the "Fender Rumble 115" is just that, the specifics. So, when you receive a reply on here make sure they and you know which one specifically they are talking about. The 115 NEO is able to handle 700 watts where the Rumble 115 is 300 watts. The NEO is made more for "touring" and being pushed with a head or combo with more ampage than the 115 Rumble. I have heard nothing but GREAT things pertaining to the Fender Bassman 115 NEO.
