Double Bass Fender Bassman 25

In between rehearsals, a favorite weekend past time includes a couple of hours on the patio with a favorite CD and a bass. Cd's are great band mates, they know the tunes cold, always play what you want, and never cancel practice. My back however does'nt like lugging my eden metro up and down a few steps onto the desired patio location.

So the lattest GAS attack if for a small practice amp. Of the few I've tried, the Fender Bassman 25 really stands out. Part of the justification for this latest case of GAS is to use the little amp to support the upright. My boney, skinny digits do not produce a big sound on the upright and running the DB through the Metro is overkill.

Have any of you used the little Fender with an upright? If so how did it hold up?

Thanks in advance,

Jim
