Fender Bassman Ten Western?

I picked up a 1973 Fender Bassman Ten 50 watt 4x10 combo in trade. What's "unique" about this amp is it is covered in brown western tolex and has gold grill cloth. I know Fender has some amps that use this but I haven't seen any Bassman Tens with it during my research. I suspect this is an aftermarket job as the back panel isn't original and some of the seams are a little off. I've attached some pics for review. Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks!

Looks cool, but I'm certain it was recovered by a non-pro. The seams are definitely off, and I don't think Fender ever used that tolex. Front grill is a mess, it'll look a lot better if you get that redone.

Thanks for the second opinion! I honestly didn't pay that much attention to the grill cloth but now all I see is how the lines are all over the place!

How does it sound? I’ve thought about picking one of these up, but wasn’t sure if it would be much different than playing through a guitar amp.

As a guitar amp it has a lot of character but as a bass amp I'd look elsewhere.Just not enough bottom end for my liking.

Definitely a mod job. Those amps are ported at the factory, someone made this into an open back, thus forever ruining its prospects as a bass amp. Probably makes a cool guitar amp though.
