Fender Cases @ Target

I just bought one of the SKB cases made for Fender that come with the new Fender American Standard basses from Target for only $44.98. This is the same case that goes for $129.99 I think online.

Why in the world did Target even think people would go there to buy a bass case?

No seriously, if these are going in the store let me know. I did not see any in my local supertarget but that doesn't mean a thing.

Evidently, Target is getting out of the music biz. I went into one over the weekend, and where they had been selling that cheap Fender Starcaster crap was all gone. The rest was on clearance. I bought a $39 Monster cable for $9. Four $20 Fender instrument cables for $4.98 each. Two sets of Fender Super Bass 7250m for $11 each (normally priced at $44.95 at Target, about $20 everywhere else). Two Monster cable couplers for 3.98 each (normally priced at 14.98). one Fender Koil Kord for 3.74. They also had some songbooks marked way down.

The item number for the Fender SKB bass case is 057120305 as found on my red tag for $44.98. My Target in Florence, AL is out of the cases for both guitar and bass. Ya'll are right about some Targets not having this merchandise at all. I went on vacation to Destin, FL to try and find some of these deals and they had nothing. So....it's hit or miss. Good luck!

FYI, I just called my local Supertarget in Shreveport, La. and they looked up said item # 057120305, which it is the Fender case in question. They did not carry in nor the other 4-5 stores anywhere between an hour to almost an hour and a half drive from me. "Anyone" willing to buy this item locally and ship it to me "with my money" in the original box that it comes in, I would be grateful. If your city, town has an extra one in stock please PM me with the information. I can send paypal or money order, whichever you prefer.
