Fender Chinese Starcaster Bass

Anyone ever hear of these?

Since I started fixing my own guitars and basses, people come to me with the harder problems that they have not fixed.

Today my client told me she does not like the bass, it buzzes all over the place and it did not have good tone.

I adjust the truss and no more buzz, lower the action a touch just to match the string radius - that was way too high.

Now she wants to sell it, possibly to me or have me sell it for her.

Kinda like it but I see they are running for about $750 new....

Any clues on value?

I have one. Love it. Really thumps, great fretwork, no buzzes, medium action. It's a keeper.

Well I ain't got that much right now, been down with recovery from ACL reconstruction surgery. I already have SO many basses...
