I use to have a Fender Bassman 250/210 combo. I wanted to be able to use an ext cab plus more power so I got the GK MB210 combo(350 watts)plus the 210MBE cab making the "rig" a 500 watt 4x10. I liked the sound and quality of the Fender though. Now I noticed that Fender has the Rumble Series for their combos. (I like my GK btw.)
Does anyone on here have the Bassman 250/210 and also have tried the Rumble 350 2x10? Has anyone tried both the Bassman 250/210 and the Rumble 350? If so, what are the main differences? I know the wattage and the Bassman has the carpet cover but any other real differences? I thought the Rumble came out as a "beginner" combo and the Bassman was "gigging" combo. Is the Rumble 350 a gigging combo now?
With GK I like the fact that you can add the 210MBE and get the 500 watts. I wonder why Fender didn't do it? Well that's enough for now. Any info is appreciated...thanks.
