Fender Custom Shop Club

I'm sure this thread is an echo chamber for my desires but I'm overly caffeinated and am considering buying a sage green metallic precision CS on reverb on credit! I need to sell one of my Nash PB-63s and an Old Smoothie Sting Ray to fund this impulse but might float it on my card for a month or two. I played a friends CS Precision a month ago and it was butter! My Nash's are great, but this felt like the sturdiest P bass I've ever played. Some one talk me out of it!
I own a FCS 1960 Jazz and have long considered adding a Precision, but I haven't been able to justify it because I already own numerous Fenders, a Sadowsky Metro Line PJ and a Nash PB-57. If I did buy one, it would be used for much less than $4.5 K. That's just me, though.

Hey gang!

I've decided to sell my jazz bass 66 CS. I've bought it two years ago and it never left home. Selling it to redistribute money into another project. Please note that I'm in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The nitro finish is amazing and aged well. The different scratches are from the journeyman finish and add charm, without being too much.

The bass is in excellent condition. It is currently strung with labella IMA super polished. The bass comes with the case and the usual case candies.

Contact me if you want the exact specs!

NBD.. bought here on TB from great Robert. Pickguard upgraded with Avantguard one, fretboard oiled a bit and tried to catch the Aztec gold in sunset weather.

NBD! '59 CS P in Walnut, Quartersawn Maple neck (51 U Shape), anodized black pickguard. Incredibly resonant, just like my other '59 CS...I took a risk on the 51 U shape neck possibly being too chunky, but it's become my new favorite...Just the perfect amount of shoulder without it being over the top. They did a great job rolling the fretboard edges as well as wearing the finish on the back of the neck...The feel of the neck reminds me of my old US Lakland 44-64. Really smooth and a joy to play. The finish is Journeyman Relic on the body and Heavy Relic on the neck with Closet Classic hardware. Very happy with this purchase. Ive been on a search for the right P Bass lately (a couple boutique builds, and AVRI's) and keep on coming back to the FCS.
