I'm traveling at the moment. I'll have to snap those when I get back. The Jazz is another CS, but I have since sold it. It was a hair heavy for me, and I acquired a 1974 Jazz that was doing it better for me, so I let it go.

To all CS '64 Jazz Bass owners: where do your control knobs point when they are all the way up? Mine point towards the jack.

I think it's mostly random. I loosened the set screws and turned the knobs so they're about 220 degrees CW from yours (I don't recall where mine started.). Makes it easier for me to judge their position.

I do believe that, too - I am just curious because although in Fender Jazz Basses they all point at the same spot (the "modified" yours), in CS Jazz Basses there are more spots to be encountered.

mine pretty much point in the opposite direction from yours...

Nice! Is it a Closset Classic or a NOS? What is more, both fretboards of your basses have more of a light-brown shade - is this Indian Rosewood, an alternative or are they just dry?

Thanks, it's a closet classic. You're right, the rosewood on both is on the lighter side, but with a beautiful grain. Not sure the type of rosewood. Both have been oiled recently so they're not dry...
