Fender Decals

The Fender neck on a Warmoth body is not a Fender bass it's a Fender neck on a Warmoth body.

The old Fender with the replacement neck and Fender decal applied is trademark infringement if the replacement neck is not a Fender neck and the decal is not provided by Fender.

Another frequently seen case is where an Fender body is paired with a different Fender neck (with original decal) than the one it left the factory with.

Those are called "parters" and "vintage" parters are not very well thought of in the vintage market but can make excellent players.

THere are many types of parters (aka parts basses, frankensteins, etc) and some of them are good players.
