fender dimension vs. zone

and im referring to the deluxe zone model and 4/5 string dimension models

I've played the Zone and liked it. The Dimension baffles me, for I can't fathom why Fender, with the most recognizeable headstock in the world, would copy Ibanez. Maybe that's superficial, but I can't get past it.
