Fender experts please help

Can't quite read the serial number - don't most usually have a letter in front (like an "S") before the numbers? I just see "76".... *shrug* I'm no expert though, so...

It looks like it's 30+ years old to me.

I own and have owned several mid 70's Fenders and it all looks good from the outside, but as far as the electronics are concerned,that's a differant story, the jack is missing why? Was it bad, or have the pups and or pots changed? Does he have the case with it?
Dig a little deeper with the seller to find out more info. and defanatly get more pics.

That is the transistion year for Fender serial numbers from the neck plate to the headstock this first year was "76" then changed to S6 around mid year i believe.

Yeah, but it might be because it's flickr, not photobucket. They look like they WANT to post, but then don't show up.

Anyway, moot thread, guy flaked. No response about input (I mean output....) jack, no more pics. Oh well.
