Fender Fraud?

I don't know the specifics of what the stampings on the neck mean but the "contour body" logo on the headstock of a p-bass neck doesn't look right to me.

The headstock decal is wrong for '80, but the rest of the neck looks pretty authentic to me. Probably had a decal replacement for some reason.

It does look like a bass I would dig, but I don't really think it's a steal.

It's a sweeeeet bass but that headstock logo is definitely redone (and poorly placed, unless that's just the angle). Regardless, thats a SWEET looking bass. Fiesta red??

That headstock logo is correct for late, late 60s through mid 70s or so from my memory.
