Fender Gurus - Does this Pbass looks legit?

No, that looks to be a fake. When I ran the serial in guitar dater project.org it came up: "Serial number unrecognized, please verify that the correct number is correct." The tuners are wrong, and the neck has headstock truss rod access which is also wrong. The domed knobs are wrong and also wrong size. Finish is cheaply done, and the back is black instead of sunburst. This looks to be a Squier which are commonly used to counterfeit USA Fenders.

Did you really have to run that against known serials to know what it wasn’t?
 
E+6 digits = MIJ 1984-1987.

It's not an MIJ either. Serial would be on the front and that's just for starters as to what's wrong with this bass.

It's not a Fender of any kind at all. It's not even a re-decal'd Squier. Decals are wrong, headstock shape is BADLY wrong, bridge is wrong, and I've never seen a Fender that had the front with a burst and solid black on the back.

ETA: the neck wood is Chinese maple. And not even a good example thereof.
