Fender headstock logo

    Does anyone know what years/models of fender basses, can be jazz or precision have the big writing on the headstock, with the black fender spaghetti logo.?
    I would love one and reckon they look better than ones with small writing. I think the current highway one's may have this.

    dont know exactly what years, but 70s models had them, also the Geddy Lee sig and Fenders new 70s classic models. may be some others

    My 73 P has the big lettering, but I've seen 77s w/slightly smaller lettering. IIRC there's a nice 74 at www.luthiersaccessgroup.com. I could be wrong, but I don't believe the Fender logo you have pictured is known as a spaghetti logo.

    actually, I think you are right. The black fender writing is not considered a spaghetti logo. ....If only the highway one's had a maple fretboard, I would be set.

    Do you mean the TV logo from 1968-1976? My '78 has the smaller lettering. The HWY One logo is similar.
