Fender Heartfield, who has them??

Hey all! I am new to TB, this is my first post

Something I've been wondering about ever since i got mine is, who has a fender heartfield instrument? What version do you have? What color? What Year? What do you think about it?

I had a DR6 around '92. Forever was my favorite 6 string. I so miss it.

I have DR5; nice bass. Mine would see more action if it were a 4-string.

I have a Fender/Heartfield Prophecy II. I love this bass and it's super easy to play.

By the way, you didn't say what you had for a heartfield bass.

I have a Red reverse burst DR5. I also have a number of other more expensive basses but the Heartfield is probably the most fun to play.

I had a Prophecy 1 that I bought used in the late 90's. I played it for several years. It started looking kind of rough so I refinished the body and dropped in Basslines quarter pound pickups. Unfortunately, I sold it a few years ago. Wish I still had it!

I have an '89 DR4 in blueburst that I bought new. For years it was my only bass. I agree it's a ton of fun to play - great neck and action, super light weight, cool sound. It doesn't get much play these days, but when I do I always smile and remember how important the Heartfield was in getting me back into playing after a few years off. Still in great shape, by the way. It's a little noisier than it used to be but still sucks batteries dry in no time.
