Fender Japan Jazz neck vs MIA Standard Neck

Hi friends,

I have spotted a nice Japan Jazz. It´s a lefty with maple fretboard, which is not very common.

I keep reading so many wonderful things about the MIA jazz neck that I was wondering if I would be missing something if I choose the japanese model.

Which one would you say is better?
Which one is the slimmest?
Are the finishes the same?
