If anyone is hesitant on MIJ, I’m an owner of a MIJ traditional 70’s jazz bass and it plays like a dream. The neck is a “U” and it is gloss but not sticky at all and super comfortable. Identical specs (bone nut, medium jumbo fret, etc.) from the international line apart from the ash body.
Added BAII bridge and Nordstrand NJ4 pickups. Feels and sounds easily as good if not better than an Am pro ii P I had for a short time.
